We build software. Since 2003 — and today, differently.
The code is only the record
In 1985, Peter Naur described what a program actually is: not the source code, but the theory in the minds of the people who wrote it — their understanding of how a piece of the real world maps onto machine behaviour. The code is only the record of that theory.
Forty years later, the record has become cheap. A model writes in minutes what used to take days.
The theory has not become cheaper. It still forms where someone has understood your business, can foresee the consequence of a decision, and knows why a thing was built three years ago the way it was built.
That is why this page tells you who works here.

People lead — agents make them better
People are at the centre of what we do, and agents make them better. Whoever spends less time on the record has more for what only people can do: understand what something is being built for, decide what is right, and stand behind it.
In practice: our engineers work with AI agents every day. The agents read code, propose changes and run tests — the human leads, reviews and takes responsibility. That holds in engineering as it does in leadership: an agent builds alongside, but it does not sign off. We try everything on our own operation before we recommend it to a client. What that means in practice is shown on our methodology page — with examples from real work.
